EA has unveiled the FC 26 soundtrack, featuring more than 100 tracks from global artists including Ed Sheeran, Fred again.., Skepta, PinkPantheress and… Fiorentina forward Moise Kean.
Currently playing in Serie A, Kean becomes the first professional footballer ever to feature on an FC soundtrack under his artist name, KMB.
The line-up spans 30+ countries and includes 27 unreleased tracks, with contributions from HAIM, The Cure, Joy Crookes, Alewya, Ebony and Obongjayar, alongside global superstars.
EA’s soundtrack tradition continues its role as a cultural tastemaker: past editions have introduced millions of players to now-household names like Glass Animals, John Newman and Nia Archives.
FC 26 launches worldwide today (26 September), following early access for Ultimate Edition players from 19 September.
Why It Matters:
The EA FC soundtrack has long been a bridge between sport, gaming and entertainment and with Moise Kean’s inclusion, that bridge has never felt stronger. It underlines how cultural boundaries are blurring, with athletes building creative identities beyond the pitch while still active.
As Kean put it: “Football and music are both passions that unite people across the world … to now be a part of FC 26, not just as a player but as an artist, is a dream come true.”
For Kean, it provides validation as KMB, positioning him as more than a footballer dabbling in music.
For artists more broadly, the soundtrack is one of the most influential playlists in global entertainment: placement can be career-defining, delivering cultural credibility, new markets, and spikes of 500%+ in streams. Joesef’s FIFA 21 single, for example, saw a 680% leap in streams the day after release and a 1,500% increase in the first week.
